Playable Species
There are 44 distinct choices available when selecting your character's species, and each offers its own very different gameplay experience. The choice of species impacts almost every facet of a character's development, from his attribute aptitudes to his unique inherent powers and abilities.
Additionally, individual members of a species often differ slightly from their fellows due to optional species traits, which may only be selected during character creation. Each species has its own list of optional traits to reflect the fact that not all groups, tribes, or individuals are exactly the same. For instance, some dwarven clans and individual warriors possess the Battle-Hardened trait, whereas others possess the Fortified Stamina trait.
